Sparkling Kleen Comes Away With Two Wins At 2025 Florida Swimming Pool Association Awards
Our team is incredibly honored to have won two awards at this year’s Florida Swimming Pool Association Awards Reception! Below are details of each award winning project.
Award of Merit - Residential Pool 250 to 500 sq ft
This project was originally just a pool with a small deck around it. The sales person walked onto the job and had a vision for ways to improve the outdoor living space. The homeowners’ main requests were adding a spa, adding a sunshelf, adding more deck space, putting in a covered lanai area for a table and chairs, and adding a fire pit area.
With all of those requests, this project came to life. We added a large 10x10 spa and sunshelf to the back of the pool area with 3 split spillways from the spa area. We extended the decking back and added more space behind the new spa and sunshelf to where the new cage ended. On the left-hand side we added in a seating area, effaced with ledgerstone, with a fire pit added on. On the right-hand side, we added an area for an outdoor kitchen with a covered elite roof lanai above it.
Not only did we add in the functional features to this backyard living space, we beautified the areas that were already existing. We overlayed a beautiful travertine material as the decking, with a stunning new glass tile around the pool and new spa, as well as resurfacing the existing pool with a beautiful deep blue color. The new additions integrated with the existing make for a beautiful space that look like they was meant to be together the entire time.
This project won an Award of Merit for new construction within the 250-500 sq ft size!
Technical Achievement Award - Residential Pool 250 to 500 sq ft
This project is a new pool our team built within some tough parameters. The home is a townhouse with a wall being shared between 2 residences. The request from the homeowner was to add a small swim spa into the area. The goal was to add a seating area within the pool, add a water feature to bring some noise tranquility to the space, and add a badu jet system to swim against for exercise. The multipurpose area was a dream for the homeowners.
We started with a blank slate, demoing the existing concrete lanai and hand digging the pool. Having to deal with such a small area made it a bit tricky but we worked within the space and built it. We added in the seating area on the left side for the homeowner to just relax in the water, we added the badu swim jet system on the right hand side so that the homeowner can use the pool area for therapeutic exercising. Tying both areas together we added a raised platform in the middle with a water feature for visual effect as well as noise tranquility for the homeowner.
This project won the Technical Achievement Award! This award is given out to one pool company that went above and beyond for the homeowner and created a beautiful pool area with difficult parameters.
We’re very proud of these honors and appreciate our hardworking team for all of their incredible efforts!
